Reports and memos are the primary means of communication in the Nigerian public sector. There is therefore a need for all employees to have a good grasp of report writing skills. This Report Writing Skills course will show participants how to put together a well-structured report – how to plan the report, adapt it to specific audience, build the report around a structure and how to bring it to a
successful close.

• Preparing the Report – Purpose, objective, audience
• Report Sections – Title, executive summary, body, diagrams and tables, conclusions, and recommendations
• Proofreading – Plagiarism, punctuation, grammar
• Presentation – How to talk through the Report, persuasive language.
